Patti IS a great statue poser, Peggy, there is no doubt about it haha… Love the Portland vibes. Friend of mine lived there for years and equally fell in love with the town.

Ellie would’ve loved that Korean Fried Chicken. Bone marrow at Toro Bravo sounds right up my alley.

China Town and Portland Saturday Market would be fun, too. 🙂

Your guys’ posts always make me laugh at least once (the 20 something pretentiously talking about Italy lol)! It’s unfortunate a couple of your favorite restaurants closed. We had that happen in our hometown too due to Covid. I hope to visit Portland one day! That bridge is really cool-looking – great photo!

In reply to Steven Jepson. I did know that you had spent some time there. School, right? The moment the plane lands I feel a physical connection that I'm home. The food scene is fantastic, I wish I took the time to explore more of it. I am lucky enough to get up there 4-5 times per year to get together with my best friends but we rarely go to new restaurants. Food exploration is truly best done with my sister!

I think I’ve mentioned to you before that I also lived in Portland for awhile, and it will always feel like a second home to me too. Such a great food town! I lived there at a time in my life where I was just starting to discover the joys of good food. I suppose you could say that I became a “foodie” in Portland. And last time I was in Portland (too long ago , sadly) we also went to the Screen Door. In fact, just the other day, my wife and I were reminsicing about the Chicken and Waffles we ate there.
